A beautiful park

Alexa gasped as she climbed out of the car. They were at a beautiful park that Alexa had never been to before. She didn’t even know it existed as Madison wrapped an arm around her waist, guiding her along the way. “Wow,” Alexa said. “This is really pretty.”

“Right?” Madison said. “My… mom used to take me here all the time when I was little. It was the best thing ever. You can sometimes get lucky and see the fireflies, but if not, the flowers are just as pretty.”

Alexa nodded. “I love it,” she said.

Alexa sat down on a wooden bench as Madison turned to look around. “Hey, look,” Madison said. “Come on, Alexa… look. You can see the fountain over here.”
