Chapter 38

Does anything happen on the way to St. Magdalena's?
A Talk in the Car…
“I’m showering with you.” It would be tight & distracting but I felt it may be beneficial in more ways than one.
To illustrate how responsible I could be, instead of just Yui's male slut, I insist on taking a shower with her. I wash her body quickly & efficiently, though of course I am unable to keep my mind from memorized the curves & touch of her skin.
Yui fell short of even that level of self-controlled when washing the body of mine. A couple times I helped her get past her distraction.
On the way to Yui’s school she explained further on what to expect at the school function.
“It is mostly just a school party where the twelfth grade have dinner with the faculty before they graduate. The senior students are allowed a glass partially filled with wine at the dinner, so it really has less rules than an actual dance. You wouldn’t make me go solo for the fourth year in a row would you?” I heard Yui ask.
I squeezed Yui’s hand affectionately. “As if you haven’t noticed how crazy I am about you?”
“Sometimes, it is hard to tell between you & my own dreams.” Yui answered with barely a whisper.
As we got closer to St. Magdalene’s I said, “To answer your question, I am already dreaming of a future with us. Yet, I don’t want to scare you.”
Yui giggled, _“You don't know women as well as you think you do. I don't mind that look in your eyes, I just mind it being expressed in the eyes of any other man. _That makes for a very different feeling than fear. Besides, as I feel the same way… it’s like I have known you all my life. Maybe waiting for you is why I rejected every prearranged date set up by my mother…
“That was more difficult than you might think. I had to convince them to reject the suitors for me, without my parents knowing that I was pulling their strings. That took a great deal more studying on their own behaviors & I had to be rather merciless to some dates. That is how I ended up with a minor in psychology.”
“Will there be dancing between boys & girls? Will there be nuns there?”
Yui took my question the wrong way and grunted, “Yes but no the nuns will not dance with anyone.”
I chuckle at that deviant idea, “That isn’t what I meant. I was more interested in learning what we could get away with while dancing.”
With a blush Yui quickly responded, “Oh… that is good. Judging by last year’s dinner, we can kiss & maybe a bit of hidden petting but that is it. They are cool, but they also have superiors to whom they are held responsible.”
Several things are running through my head. “You said Lawan and Dawn are graduating, yes?”
“Girls seem to think dinner with me is the highlight of the evening. However, having you there changes the equation… so the results may vary.”
The concern must have been in my body language because Yui’s expression softens. “Is something bothering you Steven?” She also stopped massaging my inner thigh.
The tone of voice from Yui is ironic as already through across the center console she began messaging my inner thigh.
“You already identified several people who each could even unintentionally leak our relationship to your parents. You may want to head that discovery off on your own terms instead of letting someone else, or chance dictate the conversation.”
I notice that Yui draws back some and is vexed over the issue. “Are you willing to declare yourself to me?”
The question was one sided, but I can see why she would want to know. It has only been a month since we first met each other.
“Yes, and are you interested in moving in with me?”
Emotion drained out of Yui’s face. She did not want to have this conversation, but she clearly agreed with my earlier assessment of the danger. “That is the wrong question… Maybe I need to be more clear. If I move in with you my parents will disown me.
“Some of my friends like Piya will still be around but most parents will **** their children to break any friendship they may have with me.”
“Including your students?” I asked.
“No, they either are graduated & somewhat immune to their parent’s ultimatums or they’re at school where their parents have little oversight. They could make things difficult if they saw you as a danger, but there is one way to negate that perception.
“So, please ask the question Steven… & Stop stalling.” We were almost to St. Magdalene.
At a stop light I reach over and grab the back Yui’s head to softly bring her into a passionate kiss. She looked vexed about the nonanswer but wanted it too much to resist. The traffic light limited how long it could continue, so I just continued to hold her hand while we drove.
“Will you marry me Miss Yui Li?” I had never really felt for any girlfriend the same way as the past couple weeks have left me feeling for Yui. Her face broke out into overjoyed happiness.
Biting her bottom lip Yui persisted with her wonderstruck happy smile. “You can get me a ring while I am at work.” She pulled out a credit card and gave it to me. “There, my parents will also unknowingly pay for it.”
As I pull into the parking lot & park my car, I stared into her hands. “That is not an answer. Do you want to marry me?”
Yui giggled and kissed my hand, “Yes Steven… I will marry you. Now to clear something else up for me, you are wanting me to move in?”
“Yes, that is the idea that precipitated my question. Losing you because of your parent’s xenophobia is alarmingly depressing to me.”
That statement seemed to precipitate a strong response from Yui, as she lurches onto the driver’s side and molds herself to your body while kissing you. Hands still being held out to the side. Fortunately they had already arrived & were in the school's parking lot for teachers.
Two girls recognizes my car & walks until they also noticed Miss Yui. They giggle as they gave me a thumbs up.
“Then I will have Piya get my clothes & stuff from my room… she might call you for transport. Then you will pick me up from school.”
“So, you will just let your parents figure it out through the grapevine?”
Yui’s family was big on their individual responsibilities to the family. That is part of why their xenophobia persisted. One family may let it go but all the other families would not and judge the other families that did harshly.
“I know… but arguing with my mother & father is pointless. They already know my opinion, & with you I have little interest in entertaining their sensibilities. Maybe in a decade when they have several grandchildren, but not today.”
“What if seeing Piya deposit clothes in my car precipitates them yelling at me? Not that would be a problem, I just am just providing you the opportunity to tailor my response.”
Yui giggles, _“Piya is rich, so her parents have little hold on her. She may have finally broken it off with her ex-boyfriend, but they fail to know about you yet. The most they could have heard about is some A. F. prowling the streets snatching up innocent young Thai girls." _The last part was added with a mischievous grin, & ended with giggling.
“So, you could just tell them you are Piya’s new boyfriend. That would get them outraged all the same, but leave me alone a bit longer. But if that seems too much of a lie. Then say whatever you want, I support whatever my fiancée wants to tell them.
“And I love you, but I have to get to class before the students notice.”
_"_That ship sailed a few minutes ago when we we started kissing." My response caused Yui to blush but she seemed to loath the idea separate herself from me physically. It was endearing but hardly what she said she wanted, so I gently helped her as much as she let me.
What Happens Next? How do the Parental Units Respond? Skip to Picking Yui Up? Interrupted? Ambushed?
