A Question; A Revelation!

After a few hours of pleasant slumber, you awoke alone as the girls clung to you and each other for warmth and comfort. You slowly brush away the cobwebs in your head as you stretch your arms and rub your eyes, recalling how you lasted longer than humanly possible. You even outlasted Wonder Woman... You close your eyes, meditating as you channel your thoughts: 'REGEN? Are you there?'

'YES, SIR,' they replied. And before you knew it, you were at the mental conference table of the founding members. But instead of the actual Leaguers, there were cloud shapes of them in the chairs.

Then Martian Cloud talked first. 'I can sense that you have a question about recent events.'

'I do,' you reply. 'Last night, I managed to maintain the amount of energy I used up in my activities.'

'Activity,' Bat-cloud... corrected? 'And there is an explanation for it.'

'Due to the collective blood administered and infused into yours,' Super-cloud explained, 'you received the abilities inherent in them.'

'Thus enabling us to learn much from it all,' Martian continued. 'From so little, we separated and analyzed the contents: the number of white blood cells, how much oxygen each type absorb, how human blood differed from alien, and much more.'

'Yeah,' said Cloud Flash. 'That means we were able to use Supergirl and Superman's blood, the Martian's, Poison Ivy's, and Flash's to get a definite result: self-sustenance.'

'We've made it possible,' Bat-cloud answered, 'to greatly reduce your bodily needs, such as rest. And there's more.' That seemed to grab your attention.

'More?' you echoed.

'Yes,' said Wonder Cloud. 'We have continued evolving steadily, learning about the air you breathed in as you were around what you named the "Lazarus Pit".'

'After being struck by the creature called the Imp,' explained Hawk-cloud, 'you had a recent opening that was exposed to the faint traces of chemicals from the pit. From inhalation and the puncture wound in your chest cavity, we began learning that it had restorative properties that we did not possess before. And now we are including it into our primary function.' Considering the time of day you awoke after the eulogy, and the Solar Empowerment, it made perfect sense about how you returned from ****, from a limbo of sorts.

'Well, ok then!' They nodded at your reaction; you were a bit excited about what traces of Lazarus chemical would provide for you.
