A Poor One

Denise looked at her hand and frowned when she saw just how poor her hand actually was: 7 of clubs, 4 of spades, 2 of hearts, 5 of hearts and nine of diamonds. Not even the basis of a good hand here. She couldn't build towards a flush or a straight and a pair was probably out as well.

A quick look around the other players told Denise that they were all feeling pretty confident and that meant she had to be bold. Discarding all five cards told the others just how poor her hand was but at least it meant she had a better chance of pulling something out of the hat she told herself.

Well that was the theory, in practice she ended up with just as bad a hand as before. No pair, no flush. She even managed to get nine high again and when it was compared to the hands the others all placed on the table Denise knew she had lost.

Denise quickly ran through her options and decided to lose the nylons and her shoes, but being a Hollywood tease she didn’t just slip them off. Very deliberately she took a sip of wine to eek out the moment before standing up. She’d kicked off her shoes earlier but the stockings came off with a show.

Denise slowly hitched up her skirt so that it just covered her thong and then slowly slid down each stocking. As she reached the floor her body was almost bent double allowing her audience the opportunity to look down her top and catch a glimpse of that world famous cleavage.

When she straightened she was very pleased as she noticed the expressions on the faces of Tony and Heath but a little shocked as she noticed that Beverly had been staring at her display just as avidly. Even more shocking was her realisation that she was just as excited by Bev’s interest as she was by Heath’s or Tony’s.

"Ok, winner deals, so it looks like that's me again..." Heath said, and began to shuffle once more.
