A Memory Stirs...

As you contemplate your choices, your eyes idly following the road outside the bus, a buried memory begins to surface as you remember another such powerful Youkai, one that you fantasized about when you were younger. Now with the the chance presented to you, how could you pass it up?

As a small smile appeared on your lips you noticed the changes begin to take hold, you concentrating on a more gradual change rather than all at once on this.

First it was the slightly enlarged canine that peeked out from under your lips followed by the small barely visible whiskers adorning your cheeks. Looking at your hair, you noticed the two new additions as little fox ears twitched, getting used to the new sensations.

Snapping your fingers, a small golden flame appeared, dancing across your fingers like a coin.

Most importantly of all, you felt more than saw the numerous tails now billowing out from behind you.

"So this is what it's like to be a kitsune, no, what do they call them here... Yoko, that's right. Hmm, I'm rather partial to kitsune though, oh well something to consider for later." You mutter as the bus comes to a stop, and with a single glance outside the windows, you see that you have arrived at Youkai Academy.

"Be careful, Youkai Academy can be a very terrifying school." You heard the bus driver say as he drove away, leaving you standing in front of a small scarecrow like sign.

You idly wondered how you were able to read Japanese as if it were English. but simply chalked it up to another of your God powers.

As you were walking down a small somewhat overgrown path through some twisted gnarled trees, you heard a loud cry coming from behind you.

"Look out, coming through!" The distinct female voice said as before you could react, you felt a soft weight collide with you, sending you into the ground.
