A Helpful Suggestion from a Coworker

Serena's ginger-haired coworker was waiting for her around the corner. Just out of sight of the lavish office's glazed glass double doors. Alison always seemed cold and distant despite Serena's best efforts. She tried to go around.

And redhead stepped into her path "What should I be expecting here?"

"She's worse than yesterday," Serena said, her cheeks reddening. A gentle sting entered her eye and their green essence twinkled "She's never satisfied."

Gentle sympathy suddenly colored Alison's voice "Hmm, she never got this bad when the last assistant was here. Maybe you can find his contact information in the stuff he left behind?"

"You know before she chews us all out" The ginger soured, aloof again.
