A Hard Decision

Rose sat against her door, her bare skin shivering at the touch of the cold wood. “I’m so stupid!” Rose thought, slamming her fist against the wall.

After wallowing in self-depreciation for a few minutes, Rose remembered that she would need to get dressed before heading downstairs. She made her way over to her dresser, and opened up her T-shirt drawer. Just as she was about to select the pink fundraiser shirt she often wore around the house, she stopped. “Wait a minute. I’ve got to go out to eat tonight...” Rose thought, with a grimace. Her parents had decided that the recent shake up around the house called for them to go grab something nice to eat for once, a famous steakhouse in the city! But being the far distance, and the well known fact that Rose’s mom would probably want to go shopping while there, it was understood that she was supposed to remain naked until just before leaving since the trip would likely take nearly 4 hours in total. Rose had thought this would be fine, but Cindy making an undeclared appearance had thrown an enormous wrench in her plans. If she got dressed now, Rose knew it was likely her parents would decide to just stay in instead.

Rose realized she had an enormous decision to make. “I really don’t want to, but maybe Cindy would understand...” she said, her cheeks beginning to redden.
