A Few Months Later

Almost three months ago, a few weeks after your conversation with Karen after Amber and Bobby's date, you and Karen got married at the courthouse. Bobby was your Best Man and Amber was Karen's Maid of Honor. You list Uncle Jim's small basement apartment as your new residence. You had to do this as Karen is pregnant and it made it easier for law enforcement to protect you and her from her stepfather. The restraining order includes your high school and your uncle's business. After your wedding you and her are thinking of filming her in some porn scenes before she shows and maybe after she is showing to raise some money as you and her are both working a lot and barely scraping by.

A week after your wedding, Jim is killed in a freak auto accident and his house is left to you. Well actually the mortgage is left to you as he had very little equity in the house. He had insurance on his house, business, and van loan in case of ****, dismemberment, or other inability to pay them back. You are his only heir. Fortunately there was a double indemnity **** clause in his life insurance and he was insured for a lot. You and Karen will be able to go to college for four years including future baby expenses and still have a bit money left when you graduate.

Art, an older friend of Jim's, who had been his assistant for a few years and had moved out of town six months ago, has come back and buys Jim's Studio from you. You find that by using the second basement entrance you can rent the entire top of the house as a full unit and the rent pays all the utilities and taxes and other expenses of the house making living in the basement free. Joe was kicked out of his parents house for smoking pot a week after Jim's **** and has set up a half-assed kitchen outside the landing of the larger and better bedroom and is paying $100 a week for the room.

Jon is renting the other room for $75 a week as a hideaway for his sex trysts. This is a little nest egg for you and Karen. You took all the money you got from the sale of your uncle's business and after paying taxes put it in a trust fund that gives you enough money each month to make payments on and pay insurance on a brand new midsize SUV for Karen and cover groceries and most other expenses. You got your uncle's almost brand new business van as he was driving his sports car when he was killed.

You and Karen can park outside as your vehicles in their top running condition will get hot or cold as needed quite quickly without the benefits of being kept inside. You clean out your stuff from your uncle's garage and stuff it in a shed in the backyard. You then rent the garage for more than the going rate of two storage units as it is quite large. You and Karen don't do the adult porn filming as you would have to eventually have somebody other than you with her and neither of you like that idea and don't need to now. Also you sold the studio and most of the cameras. With the rents and other income you can both survive in comfort working only a few hours a week until high school graduation.

After graduation you and Karen and your baby get an apartment in Capital City and you both attend State University. Bobby and Amber are in the dorms and you all see each other daily. You have many adventures with your friends and your child but that is for your imagination or another time.
