A Conversation

As soon as they got inside the boathouse, much to Remy's surprise, Lorna stopped him before he could kiss her again.

"Look, I need to get something straight first." She nervously began, it was clear that she wasn't 100 percent committed to this yet and that she had to talk through some things first.

If that's what she needed, Remy would be more than happy to lend her an ear.

"If we do this, it's not a lock for anything in the future." She began.

"I think we both know that if Alex or Rogue wanted to give it another chance, we'd both jump to accept their offer at the moment." Remy nodded, it was a grim nod, for certain, but he knew she was absolutely right.

Still, they both were stuck in the same situation and it hadn't looked like it was ever gonna get any better.

So, maybe the answer was each other and maybe this was worth a try to see if this actually went anywhere further.

"So, it's agreed, we try this, but with some caveats first?" She hopefully asked him.

"I'm all for it, if you are." Remy responded.

Lorna answered that question by kissing him.

Remy liked that she was showing a forwardness.

He preferred a woman who knew what she liked.

Normally Lorna wouldn't have done such a thing, but Remy just brought it out of her.

Which he was proud of.

Someone like Lorna deserved to be able to cut loose and he was happy to help her.

The further he could push her, the better.

For so long, Lorna had been in the shadows of Alex Summers, something that didn't surprise LeBeau given how much people seemed to worship everyone in that family, she deserved to have her needs met for once.

And he was just the guy to put her needs first.

Remy was renowned for make any woman he was with feel like a Queen.

Which was exactly what Lorna needed.

Someone who knew who much of an incredible woman she really was.

Alex Summers was very much not the man to do that.

He was a self absorbed ass, in Remy's opinion.

But he didn't want to think of Alex, at this moment.

He wanted his thoughts to remain on the incredibly beautiful woman he was with right now.

One who still wanted to make a few things clear, as she broke their kiss.

"The real questions is: what if this blows our chance with them?" Lorna asked.

"Well, they certainly didn't seem to give a damn about that, given how we've been treated, so maybe we put them on the backburner for now." Remy said, unable to contain his bitterness.

Lorna wasn't too taken aback by that.

It was clear that they both felt a sense of anger at their respective exes.

"In fact, if this is the thing that pushes them away from us once and for all, then so be it, they want to go out there and have relationships with others, so why can't we!" Remy defiantly declared.

"We'll do this, but if either of them start showing interest again, than I think it's more than fair that this ends." She said.

Remy nodded and told her that he was willing to do whatever it took to be with her.

Lorna's response was to passionately kiss him.

Remy was definitely pleased by that response as it showed that Lorna was happy with the rules of this little affair and that was exactly what he wanted.

With that put to rest, it was time to them to cement their new relationship in the best way Remy and Lorna knew how to: By fucking rabbits!
