A Concerned Stranger

A frenzied face blocks the sky, looking down at him where he lay with fervant eyes. "Are you ok?!?!" the player queries.

"No. Im waiting for my pulse to rise and I was just mauled by a spider. Give me a minute." Jeff says in a measured tone with a broad grin on his face. He is still grinning as he adds, "So, how are you?"

"Im fine, thanks. That was a brave thing you did for me. I thought it was over when that thing attacked...if you hadn't showed up and distracted it..."
There was a slight tremor in the player's voice, as if this was their first taste of combat and surviving it was the last thing they expected.

"It's dangerous outside at night with no lighting. What are you doing out here?" Jeff asks as he rises to his feet fully healed. A look of surprise crosses his face as he realizes that the player is a relatively well armed and armored female who looks like her sanity was barely held together. He asks with a puzzled look, "In fact, who are you?"

"Kim Madeson and I have been in this frozen part of the land for two weeks." She gestures towards her leather armor and wooden bow. They both look severely damaged, "As you can see, it wasn't easy...or fully successful..."
