Your phone alarm blares in your ear, waking you up violently. You check the time and smile to yourself. Perfect timing to make it to the girls' sleepover.

You roll out of bed and take a shower, making sure to clean up well for the girls. You put on something nice and walk over to the liquor store and get two six packs of beer. After looking at the slip of paper that Val gave you, you ask a man at the gas station how to get there and instead of giving you the directions he offers you a lift. With a town this small everyone knows everyone and you stand out as rare stranger in town. After five minutes drive, you've made it to your destination.

You knock on the door and hear giggling within the house. Connie opens the door and looks shocked but quickly composed herself.

"Hey, Mr. Doe! What are you doing here?" she asks to you.

"Hey, Connie, I was saying that I didn't have any plans for tonight earlier and your friends invited me over here. I hope that's alright. I brought some beer with me," you say, holding up the six packs.

Connie blushes, and opens the door even wider. "Absolutely! Come on in, we were just about to play truth or dare. I'm sure the beer will make this a lot more fun."
