Role for a better boat?
9: She's sunk.
I roiled, hit a nine, turned back to the boat, and let out a long sigh as I watched it float away. This was just not my day. I think I may have only won twice roiling this stupid thing. With the boat gone, I diced to look around for signs of the original owner. Maybe he left something behind. Perhaps a notebook or a magic sword or something.
While I didn’t find a sword, I did find some low-hanging fruit. I was getting a little hungry with all this walking, so I plucked one from the branch and cracked it open. I don’t know how but I felt like I knew exactly how to crack it open, just press my thumbs into a small grove on the side and spared it open. I also somehow knew that the fruit was safe to eat and how to eat it. I slid my tongue in to the opening and started licking. The juices inside tasted sweet, as did the meat inside. It also made me feel a little warm for some reason.
After I ate my fill, I tossed the remains onto the ground to let the local wildlife finish it off, then continued my way down the river. It wouldn’t be until sunset until I finally came across something. I had just reached another waterfall when I spotted what looked like a small camp just downstream. It had maybe two or three tents made of animal furs, a few animal skulls, and even a few human-looking ones that were dotted around the borders of the camp, and I could see a few bone cages. In one of the cages was a tall green woman with long pointed ears and small tusks. An orc, perhaps?
I couldn’t see anyone else inside the camp aside from her, so I didn’t know if she had been captured by a hunting party or by another orc tribe. Whatever the reason, it looked like she needed help. Granted, I was debating if it was such a good idea to help an orc. Even from atop the waterfall, it looked like she was strong enough to break me in half.
I decided to risk taking a closer look to at least see if there was anything I could do, either for myself or the orc. I made my way to the camp and stopped just shy of one of the stakes with the skulls. While the skulls did look humanoid in appearance, they were clearly not human, unless the humans in this world had large sharp teeth. I made my way over to the tents and started to rummage around inside. I found a few arrows, animal pelts, hunting knives, and some packed meat. Clearly, these were hunters, but what kind, I couldn’t tell.
I heard a rattling from the cage nearby. “I can smell you, elf,” the she orc growled. “Come here to where I can see you.”
I decided to comply with the orc, assuming that her cage was strong enough to hold her. Upon stepping out of the tent, I found the orc woman with her arms chained behind her back and her body stripped bare. I had half expected to see a monster once I stepped out of the tent, but instead, I found myself looking at a very attractive, though very muscular, orcish woman. She was still immensely intimidating, though. She had to have been at least a head taller than me.
The orc woman looked me up and down and snarled, “Frail and soft just like any other elf. I wouldn’t stay here for long if I were you, little elf. These woods belong to the orcs. If they catch you, they will turn you into their little plaything.”
“If your tribe owns these woods, then why are you in a cage,” I asked her with a sly smirk.
The orc growled, “A group of men caught me off guard. They probably plan to sell me as a **** or try to fuck me senseless. Whatever their motivations, they will get more than what they bargained for.”
I couldn’t help but blush as the orcish woman put an image of her being fucked by two men. Unfortunately, she took note of my arousal and gave me a wicked smile.
“Let’s make a deal, elf,” she said, smirking, “I’ve seen the way you look at me. It’s clear that you fancy me. Release me so I can take out my frustrations on the men who imprisoned me, and I’ll show you the time of your life.”
A tempting offer, but I had no idea if the orc would remain true to her word, and by the way, she was looking at me, she wouldn’t. I could change that. Roil the dice and make her a bit more submissive, but then again, if I lose, it could result in her breaking lose fallowed by her breaking me.
Do you risk the dice?
