Chapter 57 by tailteller

Something to talk about over dinner

6pm, Terri's House

Lee tore a couple of the condoms from their box, sticking the rest in his glove compartment. The two he kept sat on the inside breast pocket of his dress coat. He double checked his appearance before heading to the door to knock. He didn't get to before she'd opened the door. She left it open and walked back to the kitchen on the right with a smile. She wasn't dressed to impress, but still managed to. A blouse that she filled in perfectly, and a wide-fit pair of jeans. Her nipples poking through without a bra said she didn't want to leave anything to the imagination. Her hourglass figure and peach of an ass made it hard for him to look elsewhere.

"I didn't think you'd be at exactly 6!", she said beaming.

"Well, I had planned on being a little early."

"What kept you? Another woman?", she teased.

"I ran into my daughter at the store."

Terri turned on her heels, a large smile on her face. Lee felt his heart race again. She nearly forgot about the food she had on the stove. "I didn't know you had a daughter!"

He nodded. "Well, she's been living down in California with her mother for the last ten years or so...I guess she moved back up here." He looked at the counter top, his mind flooded with thoughts of the woman he'd loved and lost.

Terri glanced back at him, her face mildly somber. "...So who left who?"

He snapped out of his daze, taking a moment to process what she'd asked. "Hm? Ah...she did."

"Still can't think about moving on?"

A blush hit his face. "Well...not until you asked me over."

She smiled. Did she just wiggle her ass at him? "Well, if we're lucky maybe we can both move on."

He completely forgot what you're supposed to do with all of this. Does he say something coy back, or just grab her rear and groan? Normally it would be all shy flirting and dancing around the subject, but she was so...direct. He'd have to respond in kind. "I...don't quite know how to respond to your forwardness, Terri. I've never been good at being direct with romance, but...you were right. We're too old for games."

"If it helps, my heart's been going like a drum since I started cooking. Let me help...how far are you willing to go tonight, Lee?"

She turned just in time for him to take a deep breath, and place both condoms on the counter. She licked her lips and set the last thing to cook in the oven.

"Me too."

She walked into the living room and turned on her stereo. Faster paced, slow dancing music. She'd started dancing, and reaching for his shoulders. With a smile, he joined her while they waited for their food to finish.

When you need a dancing partner...
