49 B.C: Caesar's Civil War

Crassus has died during a military disaster in Persia. The triumvirate made up of Caesar, Pompey and Crassus has fallen apart, and the two remaining great men of Rome are at each other's throats. Caesar is returning from his conquest of Gaul, with a loyal army of veterans at his back. Pompey, in control of the Roman Senate, has declared Caesar an enemy of the state, and as a response Caesar has crossed the Rubicon and invaded Italy. Whose side will you choose? Will you aid Caesar, the ambitious playboy Marc Antony and the young but brilliant Octavian, or side with Pompey and the senate? Chaos has engulfed the Mediterranean, and with it a chance for power has emerged for those willing to take it.
