Chi Chi was furious.

‘How could someone promise to marry me and then just act as if we’d never met? It’s like I’m dealing with the biggest idiot in the world.’ She thought to herself ‘A big, stupid, strong, handsome— SNAP OUT OF IT CHI CHI! Now is the time for payback, not swooning.’

“How can I marry someone if I don’t even know their name?” Goku asked looking especially confused by his standards.

“Hmph, I don’t know what kind of game you’re playing but I’ll be happy to tell you my name. If you beat me.” Chi Chi responded, taking on a fighting stance once again. Goku brightened up at this, seeing a chance to continue the fight as well as figure out who this girl was.

“Ahh perfect. Besides, if we’re going to be spending the rest of our lives together, it might be a good idea if I knew what to call you.”

“Are you so sure you’re going to win? I’m not. Besides, at the pace you’re fighting you’d be lucky if you hit me ONCE!” Both fighters readied themselves.

“I can’t wait to find out who you are. Are you ready for my attack?”

“Hurry up before I fall asleep.”

It looked like the two were finally going to get back into it. Goku took a short step forward, and prepared to throw a punch.

‘Maybe I should hold back. I still don’t get what a bride is, but apparently I’m supposed to live with this girl. If it’s anything like living with Bulma I don’t want to make her too mad.’ Goku thought to himself.

Finally Goku delivered his punch, not actually making contact with her, instead sending a powerful blast of compressed air at her. A loud noise like a howling wind was heard, followed by an equally loud ripping noise.

Chi Chi was put off balance, but managed to stand her ground. That was more than most of the crowd could say, as many had fallen over. Not from the wind blast that is. Evidently the outfit Chi Chi had been wearing was not the kind suited for a battle with someone of Goku’s level.
