2017 - the end of the bet

Jenny sighed in Mr. Meinke's class, knowing full well how the rest of her year would go.

And so the year went, with Jenny being naked for all the classes, at prom, writing all her college application essays, and even underneath her graduation gown that she felt compelled (in no small part due to Jessica) to keep unzipped. If there was anything positive about this, however, it was that Jenny had a slam-dunk application essay to write, and got into her dream school on a full-ride scholarship, which was great consolation as she kept enduring the yearlong humiliation.

Of course, there was also the quibbling of what "the year" meant - the school year, end of summer break and entry to college, all the way to November? But regardless of *when* the year ended, it finally ended, and Jenny was free to go back to having clothes ... right?
