Chapter 8 by reaper13

How many students participated at diversity Wednesday?

1500 of them

A week later Eve has another meeting with the representatives of the mandatory diversity committee. It is happening in the same room they first met in when they decided to organize diversity Wednesday.
“Good day, Michael, Sally.” Eve greets them. “Let’s get straight to the point. Do you have a number on the amount of students participating on diversity Wednesday?”
“We sure do.” Michael answers. “In grand total about 1500 students showed up.”
Eve’s face clears up when hearing this. “So many?”
“As a number on its own it sounds much.” Sally says sternly. “But when you compare it to the full student body it represents only about 4.5% of all students.”
“I think that is still an impressive number.” Eve says. “What are the specifics?”
“The largest turnout were white girls and black men.” Michael says. “Both had around 600 participants, meaning a diversification of 4.4% and 29.6% respectively. The other strongest participant is the Asian girl demographic, though only 35 of them showing up, represent 12.5% of them. But the statistics we have on the white guys troubles me.”
“Less than 1% of them showed up.” Sally says.
Eve leans back in her chair and ponders. “That is a problem. The white male students are the largest group of students we have, yet they seem to be the most resilient.”
“The worst part is that many of these white men, being the driving **** in the oppose side, have chosen to refer to diversity Wednesday by its proper name but decided to call it ‘white girl Wednesday’ instead.” Michael further explains.
Eve brings a hand to her forehead and sighs. “This school is known for being quite liberal. How come we have so many students acting like racists?”
“I think we have an idea how we can convince more people to join the support side, Miss president.” Michael says. “One of the other members of the committee suggested for us to gather testimonies from some of the participants to use as propaganda.”
“Are you sure that is going to work?” Eve askes. “The students were told their identities would be kept secret.”
Sally smiles and says, “Some students don’t mind being public about it. On the day of diversity Wednesday some of the more **** supporters locked themselves on top of the school roof and had interracial sex in public for all to see. If we as one of them if they are willing to make a public testimony, I’m sure they’ll be eager for it.”

Two days later, Eve comes to a university filled with posters put up by the committee. Each of them shows one of three different testimonies from students that participated on white girl … diversity Wednesday.

The first poster holds a picture of a white girl and a black guy hugging. To their left is the name of the girl as well as her testimony.

“Farrah,
I joined the support because I believe in freedom and equality. White racists and bigots should learn their views will no longer be tolerated. Having sex with a black man was a life changing experience and I can’t wait to do it again. End racism!”

The second posers was one of a white man and a latino girl standing side by side.

“Greg,
I have always considered latino girls to be hot, but my friends said latino girls only care about our money so I never acted upon my feelings. Thanks to the committee I was able to truly be myself with a sexy Mexican girl and I don’t regret it at all.”

The third is a poster with a black guy and white girl again. Not surprising cause they are the two demographics that were most present at diversity Wednesday. The two however are shown to be kissing.

“Kristen,
Back when I limited myself to white guys I stumbled from one bad boy to another. None of them treated me right and some of them even hit me. On white girl Wednesday I finally satisfied my curiosity and had the best sex of my life. I have been dating the guy who blacked me since and he is the best boyfriend I ever had. Suck it racists!”

How do these testimonies influence the students opinion about the mandate?
