10am breakfast for Jess

“This is so fucking bullshit,” Cassidy muttered as she stood in line with Mark at a little cafe on campus.

The two were about to buy breakfast for Jess. She had messaged them just earlier on what she wanted, a bacon and egg roll and a bottle of orange juice.

Cassidy continued to bitch and moan about this.

As they were walking back towards East Hall from the cafe, Cassidy’s vented turned more negative, now starting to doubt if this was worth it.

“I don’t even know if I want to do this... Maybe we should just come clean,” she admitted.

The thought of Cassidy just conceding and letting Matt know the truth had him worried. It wasn’t the noble thing to do but Mark knew it was only going to end up going poorly if Matt ever found out.

“Cas... I think it’s important I tell you something,” he said all of a sudden, stopping in the middle of an outside walkway.

She stopped too, turning to face him to hear what he was about to tell her.

“I said I would keep this a secret for him but I think you need to know,” he explained, “Matt hasn’t been cheating on you, he’s got this work at a strip club, working behind a bar. And it’s not as bad as it sounds, he’s doing it for you. He’s saving up for something special for you. I should have told you this earlier, I’m sorry.”

Cassidy stood in front of him a little speechless. If he was doing it for her while she had been going behind his back with Mark then she had really messed up big time.

“He’s not cheating? He’s working for me?” she asked.

Mark nodded, “That’s what he told me at least. He thought you’d be angry if you knew where he was working.”

Cassidy’s heart was thumping inside her. This was a terrible mistake by her, “Why the fuck didn’t you tell me this earlier???”

“I didn’t know at first, we slept together before I found out. I feel guilty Cas, I’m very sorry.”

She looked like she was almost about to cry, the guilt setting in on her. Just shaking her head, Cassidy continued to walk again, Mark following behind her.

“Nobody else finds out about this,” she turned and said, “We do whatever bullshit that Jess tells us to do and we get over this.”

Mark nodded, at least they were on the same page now.

The rest of the walk back was in silence. He imagined that Cassidy’s mind must have been going crazy, the guilty thoughts rushing through it.

They arrived back at East Hall, moving upstairs straight away to find Jess’s dorm room.

“Come on in!” yelled Jess’s voice as they knocked on her door.

Inside, she was laying in bed on her phone. Her brunette hair messy but still in a sexy way. She sat up in the bed as they entered.

“Breakfast!” she exclaimed.

Cassidy reluctantly brought over the bacon and egg roll that Jess had asked for. “Here,” she said, virtually chucking it on the bedside table next to her.

“Wait hold up,” Jess said, sitting up more in the bed. She had on a some sort of white bed time camisole on. “I’m going to need one of you to feed it to me.”

At first Mark thought she was joking but Jess was being dead serious.

“One of you can feed it to me, the other can give me a nice morning foot rub. You decide.”
