10+: Just routine follow-up

"I'm back at the clinic from Tuesday. They had some additional questions and it's always better if you can clarify these things in person when possible."

"Ah." Rachel's voice resumes its bored nature. "That's probably good, though, right? That they're asking questions?"

"I hope so." You ascend the stairs behind Maria, watching her walk up them. You feel the tingling of the beginning of, or the memory of, an erection.

"Good job, I guess. Ah, here they are. Thanks. You're getting home late tonight, right?"

"Yeah, probably not until 11 or 12."

"OK, I'll see you tomorrow then. Love you."

"You too." You end the call and put the phone back in your pocket.

Maria stops at the top of the stairs and waits for you to draw equal with her. "Everything OK?" she asks, looking at you curiously.

"Everything's wonderful," you reply, flashing a dazzling smile at her.

She shrugs, and starts walking again. You walk past the conference room you presented in and down the hallway. All the rooms to your right are glass-walled and look out of the front of the building, and you continue around a few corners and bends in the building along this main thoroughfare. Eventually, you come to a door labeled "Mental Health." Maria takes some keys out of her pocket and unlocks the door. You follow her through the door, and she locks it behind you. She walks through a dimly lit reception area and around another corner through yet another hallway, eventually coming to another door that she unlocks. "Please, come in," she says, holding the door open for you.

You walk into a medium sized room that, even with the lights on, is dimly lit. Four large brown leather couches are arranged in a square around the center of the room. Each couch is flanked by a pair of end tables, and each table has a lamp and a box of tissues on it. Around the outer edge of the room are a number of artificial plants, and on one side of the room is a long table which has a carafe and cups and other coffee accoutrements. All in all, it has a very warm feeling, with its browns and greens and soft light.

"So what do you have to show me?" Maria asks, stepping into the room. She closes the door behind her, and locks it. "Or are you going to hide behind that laptop bag this time?"
