"So Trisha, what would you like to know?" asked Kyle.

Trisha opened her notebook and took out her recording device. She turned on the device, then went to write. She brought her pen to the pad, but could not remember how to write. "Um, Trishy make words?"

"I'm sorry, what did you say?" asked Kyle.

Tricia had no idea what was going on. She had forgotten how to write and was talking like a toddler. "Trishy draw?"

"Sure, go ahead," said Kyle.

Trisha drew some shapes on the pad. She hummed to herself as she made squiggles and circles.

"Is there something you want to ask me, Trishy?"

"Um, Trishy need go pee pee. Where the potty?"

Kyle called Shailene in. "Shailene, Trishy here needs to use the potty. Please help her."

"Yes, sir," said Shailene. "Come in Trishy."

Shailene took Trisha's hand and Trisha walked along side her.

A while later, Shailene brought Trisha back.,

"Trisha made pee pee in the big girl potty!"

"So, Trishy, what do you want to know?"

"Why is the sky blue?"

"Well, it's complicated ,but it has to do with light refraction."

"Wight wefwackshun?"

"Yeah, anything else?"

"Do you wike my clothes?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"It's itchy and yucky!"

"Well, this has been great, but maybe you should be on your way."

"Awww, Okway."

Kyle walked over an turned off the recorder. He put it in her purse. He called Shailene in to show Trisha out.

Trisha walked into her boss's office. "I think that guy's a creep. He's into something creepy if not dangerous. Listen to this!" She turned on the recorder. As she listened to herself talk like a toddler, she could not believe it. She remembered nothing about it.

"Is this a joke?" asked the station manager.

"No, I...I actually interviewed him."

"Whatever. I knew you were too young and naive for investigative journalism. You're going back to covering entertainment: debutante parties, celebrity weddings, toddler pageants, and that."

Trisha's was appalled. She had no idea what happened.
