"Aren't you glad things turned out this way Izi?" Nadine asked. "Whole day just for ourselves. I already know where we can get an excellent dress for you, very fit for the occasion, quite cheap too. But we still have a whole day to spare right? and lots of your money to spend!"

Nadine decided we should start in one of the big department stores a'la Harrods. Food court had some promising choices and Nadine decided to go with the seafood. Calamari and squid platter was exquisite, the side of blanched broccoli and milk sauce created unusual but pleasant mix. This trip was really shaping up to be a pleasant experience - I thought.

Took me less then an hour to swallow that thought and then vomit it back. From floor to floor, from kiosk to kiosk, Nadine apparently couldn't find anything that would not be worthy of trying on.
Even things that would obviously not fit, she still at least tried to try on.

Many of the things she tried on she liked, and bought. Using my credit card of course. With each hour the amount of the bags I had to carry grew and grew.

As the day went on my mood visibly worsened, and Nadine apparently decided to improve my morale.
