“How about a tour of the house first?”

“Sure, I´ll show you the place.” Fleur stands up, and you follow her up the stairs. She starts rambling about the sorority history and whatnot. Hopefully, Cat took the chance to run away. “…and our mascot, Chester the Cat. Funny story, actually, it was …stolen?”

“Doesn´t sound very funny.”

“No! I mean someone stole it!” Fleur points at the empty display case at the top of the stairs. “Emergency!” She slams a button, and an alarm goes off.

“Please, Cat. Tell me you got out,” you whisper to yourself. Looking back at the lobby, nope! Her feet are still there. “Damnit!”

A group of sisters runs down the stairs while the pledges rush in from the front lawn. Everyone is looking at Fleur, this is Cat´s chance, but she is remaining still. You discreetly walk towards her and kick her shin. “Go, you idiot!” you mutter.

Like a soldier, Cat crawls to the door and rolls out of the house. Just in time as well, the door automatically closes. Yes, mission completed! Meanwhile, the sorority begins to turn the house upside down to look for their missing mascot.

“…I´ll check the cameras.”

“Excuse me?” You tug at Fleur´s sleeve. “Ehmm, seems like you gals are busy. Can I go out and return later?”

“How do we know that you didn´t steal Chester?”

“Where could I be carrying it?”

“Good point. Get out, we´ll talk later.”
