When no one said anything she continued.

"I would rather risk **** than live in fear." her whisper took on a tone of importance "We DO have a chance--if we work together."

"Or we just all dye together" the young man said hopelessly.

"If we don't make an action soon--we will get to this Fortification Hill and we will have no chance. Now--while we are on the move--is our best option.

"She's right about that." the old man said with a nod.

"Seems too risky to me." said Taylor the crackpot doctor.

"Maybe she is right." Jason said "I don't want to be a ****. And certainly not with the Legion."

"Exactly." Madeline said sensing a breakthrough "If we work together we be sure of escape--its our best chance."
