The underground facility was finished in the 1960s and is built to withstand a nuclear attack. It stayed in operation for four years and was once monitored by military personnel around the clock.

The bunker entrance has two thick steel blast doors to ensure only military personnel were able to gain entry, each one weighing about 16,000 lbs. Beyond the second blast door was a short hallway to the stairway to the living quarters on the third floor, the control area on the second floor, and the missile area on the first floor, which is accessed from a short tunnel at the bottom of these stairs.

The Atlas silo is 200 feet deep, made of reinforced concrete and steel and has been converted to fifteen floors.

2nd floor: Storage (food, water, supplies)
3rd floor: Medical Bay, Tunnel to Command Center

6th floor: Living Quarters (3 beds — Zoe Chan, Natalie Chiu, Leah Song)
7th floor: Living Quarters (3 beds — Allison Ng, Eva Lee, Kaylee Wong)
8th floor: Living Quarters (3 beds — Amber Li, Crystal Li, Jade Li)
