Which person do you want to play?

[Notes for writers]

First of all: I am happy for contributions! This story is meant to be written by different people, and it's relatively easy to contribute: You don't need to have a whole branch in mind, you can just add an encounter, a person, a place or even another reaction to an already existing encounter.

If you want to contribute, please read the "Game mode explained" chapter to get an idea about the scores and variables in this story. They will tell you a few things about the general setup already. I appreciate if you think of handing out character points or arousal points while writing a chapter. As this is a moderated story, I will keep my right to adjust those points, if I feel that you were to generous or too timid, though.

There are a few other things to keep in mind:

General setting

My aim is to build this story slowly into the realm of sexual encounters. The atrium and the first rooms are mostly for talks and sexual innuendo. As the protagonist progresses deeper into the mansion, there soon will be more encounters of a bit more graphic nature, but I want to keep the real intense stuff for later. I personally like to work on tension slowly. I am also convinced that a good erotic story needs wild scenes as well as calm ones. It can't go from climax to climax. So feel free to add some plot lines, like people reappearing or having agendas of their own.

I must admit I have not yet fully decided on the true nature of the party, but at this moment I am rather inclined to think that nobody will actually **** anybody to do anything against their explicit wishes. There are, of course, ways to "convince" people without using direct ****. The money system could be one factor. The general arousal could be another one. There are other means as well. The party is also a mixture of people who are deeply involved into the BDSM scene, and others who are (or were, until they stepped through the gate) completely innocent and "vanilla" in that regard - but might find urges deeply hidden to explode, once exposed to certain practices.

Encounters

It is good to always think of different options for different character types (dominant, submissive, etc.) during an encounter. Of course, there might be some which are simply not interesting for certain characters, and there might be also some which are simply not interesting for you as a writer. That's fine. As an author and story owner, I just want to make sure, that readers will always have enough options according to their personal flavours. If there are, for example suddenly only encounters which give you dominance points, I might stop or stall other chapters who go into that direction as well.

Normally an encounter should always change some scores, either on the character or on the arousal score. Please remember that an arousal of 100% means a climax. At the early stage of the story, no one can really reach that point, but as the story progresses, there will soon be so many different paths that basically every time the arousal score rises somebody could hit the 100% mark. As writers, we will have to prepare a specific climax scene in that case, which has to be connected to the chapter via "Conditions to view this chapter".

I encourage anybody to use people which have already appeared at an earlier stage again. Other guests are walking through the mansion, just like the protagonist, so they can make another appearence in a different setting. The "friend"-tag in the score is exactly meant for those purposes. In theory, there could be different tags like "enemy".

Rooms

Action points have either to be handed out before somebody walks into a room, or a the link after an encounter has to lead to a "doubled" room with the same choices as before. Otherwise, people will get action points again and again after every encounter, which doesn't make sense.

You are, in theory, completely free in inventing new rooms. They could even be connected and thus create a really "free world". At the moment, I am still a bit **** about that, because a linear tier of rooms would make it easier to display the passing of time and meeting people for the first time and then again later. If all rooms are interconnected, this will no longer be possible. I could imagine a small group of rooms to be connected though.

Events

I plan to introduce some special events, which will happen after a certain amount of time. For example, a special show were everybody is invited to join in a big room, or similar things. Nothing like this has been written as of yet though.

I do though want to keep this story inside the lines of what I had initially planned, so if you are unsure about your specific idea, just ask me or let's discuss it together.
