"But didn't other customers confirm that she was in the club at the time of the ****?" Rick asked.

"That was the problem. Other customers could confirm that they saw someone wearing," Captain Renault made a sweeping motion with both hands, starting at the top of his and waving downwards, "a hajib and abaya. But all they could really see were the eyes... Hard to make a positive I.D. on just the eyes."

"We did not interview her," the Police Prefect continued. "But we did do a background check." He grinned at Rick, "You and I need to discuss it some time. It's quite interesting."
