[Lucy] Sarah comes back to the room

Lucy was lost in thought when Sarah slipped in through the door. She was surprised to see the dress hanging from her body, though the light behind her made it almost totally transparent. “Hey,” Sarah said quietly. “You awake, Luce?”

She wasn’t planning on answering. “Yeah,” she said. She was going to find out soon enough.

Sarah sidled closer. “I’m sorry about the game, I didn’t mean to freak you out.”

“Don’t worry about me.”

Sarah sat on the side of the bed. She patted around looking for Lucy’s hand. “But you’re my friend. I’m always worried about you.” Literal sparks flew when her thumb found Lucy’s bare back. “Oh,” she said.

“It’s okay,” said Lucy.

“I didn’t know you were…” she began. Lucy had taken off her top before getting into bed.

Sarah’s fingers traced lightly along Lucy’s bare back, feeling the warmth of her skin under her touch. The room was dimly lit, casting a soft glow that highlighted the delicate contours of Lucy’s figure beneath the sheer fabric of Sarah’s dress. Lucy shifted slightly, her back arching just enough to press into Sarah’s hand. “It’s just been a long day. I needed a moment to myself.” Her voice was calm, but there was an undertone of something more.

Sarah’s thumb lingered. “You don’t have to hide anything from me, you know. If you want to talk, or if you just want company, I’m here.”
