[James: Lonely Unfulfilled Gamer Geek And Former 'Resistance' Member...]

The email had come as rather a shock. James didn't check his email most days but his ONE female friend at school had Skyped him and flat out ordered him to check. James was in his first year of college at the community college in the next town over, and he was a good student, except for his bad habit of staying up late playing video games. He also was secretly part of "The Resistance", which was basically just him and two of his friends. There had BEEN a real resitanace at first, but when your conquerors can read your thoughts like they're a giant neon billboard that sort of thing doesn't last long... It also didn't help that the Ghirabo could offer anyone who switches sides their PERFECT sexual partner(s) in exchange for turning on The Resistance... As far as he and his two friends knew they were the LAST functional Resistance cell in their country: so after the e-mail they'd talked it over, and agreed that they were out gunned, out maneuvered, out fought, out evolved/engineered on a genetic level, so they all were going to surrender peacefully and quietly by joining the line to receive their 'Sex Toy' volunteer. If everything went as planned maybe their 'Sex Toys' could help them morph from members of 'The Resistance' into 'The Loyal Opposition', and if everything DIDN'T go as planned, well, with that many Ghirabo in town they'd just have gotten caught anyways...

So it was that James, Herschel, and Jessica, (And boy had James been shocked when Jessica showed up to that fateful meeting. James had been like her brother since they were kids, growing up the only two kids their age on their block and all, but neither had breathed a WORD about being in The Resistance...) stood together in the middle of the line after the Ghirabo transport ship landed in the square...

Just as promised, a week after the announcement they heard a dropship landing in the Town Square. James and the others rushed there along with most of the town. First, the sides of the ship opened up and the Ghirabo onboard got off. Some of them were dressed as a security guards. One spoke into a translator which then beeped out. "All humans, for a line in front of me and you will be assigned a sex toy. Upon assignment you may choose wether to have the toy assume its desired form now or later. Now form the damn line!" The crowd quickly obeyed, with James and the others deliberately ending up near the middle. The dropship went back to get more Ghirabo three times before they got to the front and were each assigned their own Ghirabo. It spoke to a translator which then bleeped out. "Would you like me to assume my new form now or at your residence?"

James and the others had been expecting this and ALL chose "now": their research indicating that the transformation helped bind the Ghirabo's mental matrix to serving them: though why they hadn't already been arrested by the guards was a mystery...
