Kyuubi had spent the day watching through her warden's eyes as he was tricked by one of his sensei into stealing an oversized scroll, Konoha's so-called 'Forbidden Scroll of Sealing.' She had been especially entertained by the Near-****-Age-One's reaction to the trick the brat used to escape, deciding the technique worthy of a fox. When the silver-haired sensei told the brat about the seal she had anxiously observed his reaction, pondering how to use it to her advantage. After the brat had defeated his one sensei, and the other gave the boy his forehead protector, she had assumed nothing more was likely to happen that night and decided to sleep before plotting more after she awoke....

...She didn't expect to recieve a visitor....

Arriving at his apartment exhausted, but proud, and with his stomach sated, Uzumaki Naruto wanted nothing more than to lie down on his bed and sleep. After removing his footwear and new hitae-ate, he proceeded to do just that. Laying down and closing his eyes, Naruto quickly found himself somewhere new....

...drip...drip...drip...

The first thing Naruto noticed was the dripping, followed by the sensation of having his feet submerged in water. Opening his eyes, he saw a large dimly lit hall supported by cement pillars and a floor three inches underwater - a sewer, he realized. Taking it in stride, but wondering why he would be dreaming of such a place, Naruto began slowly walking through the hall.

...Splash...Splash...

Kyuubi's ears twitched as they registered a distant sound in her current environ, growing less distant with each repetition. Eventually she began to grow restless as the sound grew nearer, invading her sleep....
