Chapter 13 by TheArchitect TheArchitect

This did not change a lot.

(<20) She has an idea.

"Wait... there probably is a clue. No one would stick with checking every single key for a long time."

Jen leaned to the closest shelf and brought her right shoe closer to her eyes, holding its heel with her hand. She searched for any symbols or runes near the keyhole, but there was nothing interrupting the smoothness of the locked shoe's polished metal clasp box.

"There has to be a way... There has to, or else... I dunno."

She returned the white shoe onto the white tiles and made both it and its counterpart move her through the row. Then there was an intersection, and Jen just took a random turn and kept walking. Such long walks were not welcomed by her feet that were not used to marching in this kind of footwear. Her speed was also hindered by the pencil skirt. Yet she walked forward, to the right, to the left, backwards, traversing the maze in hopes of proving her theory.

"It'll tell me. I know it's gonna."

Thousands of loud stiletto steps later, she dropped her latex ass onto a random bench near the shelf department and yelled out of frustration. She found nothing.

"Well, it's not there, I guess. There are lots of wardrobes and standalone lockers, occupying a lot more room. Something has to be there. This wasn't for nothing. Don't tell me I had to check every shelf, please!"

She would check each corner of the Great Hall. She would walk along the walls. She would do what she thought was necessary. But her feet were vibrating from the building pain from the overload they were not ready for. It was pulsing, and Jen could not even give them a massage through the platform heels.

Exhausted, dehydrated and disappointed, she dragged her legs onto the bench and fell asleep.

The girl woke up on the same bench, still wearing her outfit. Her bare nipples went numb from the continuous exposure to the cool air of the hall. The unmistakable feelings from her waist down and especially in her overworked feet made her remember the current state of her endeavor very quickly.

Jen looked around for a promising place to go, hoping that this place is not going to be far away.

Where now?
