'We could have sex'

"...we could always stay here and have sex," I suggested. I'm pretty good at making jokes sound like they weren't, which may have signed my **** warrant this time. I didn't think about it before saying it.

"Could we," Shana asked giddily.

"Wh...uh...seriously?"

"Well, I mean, you just said I was pretty and I do think you're kinda cute. We would have the house to ourselves with nobody to interrupt us. If you really wanted to, I..don't have a problem with having sex with you..." She trailed off slightly and took a sudden interest in her shoes. Holy shit, she was serious! She's tried to call my bluffs before, but they had always been transparent.

I was still skeptical. She might have gotten a better poker face since last time. I approached. "You really wouldn't mind if we had sex right now?"

"..no," she answered softly.
