You tap the Key-Card against the reader. The previously lifeless LED turns green, the door unlocking with a click and 'swishing' open. The room is dark and you hesitate to enter, but now's not the time to get chicken feet; you've gotten so far already. The door closes behind you, plunging you into complete darkness.

All you have to do now is find that duct Bertha mentioned.

It's quiet. So quiet that you stifle your own breath.
