After you separate, you take some time to look Jessica up-&-down. It's no surprise she looks amazing. What surprises you is the fact that when you stop traveling her body with your eyes, you notice she is doing the same to you.

"So, Jessica," you finally say, feeling it's OK to use her first name since she used yours. "What have you been doing lately?"

"Oh, nothing much, John ," she says, sighing. "Just trying to get over the cancellation of 'Dark Angel'."

"Really?!" you ask skeptically. "But that was YEARS ago! I've seen you in several movies since then!"

She laughs so hard, she almost falls over, giving you a briefly-different glimpse of her chest in what appears to be a tight, black dress.

"I know!" she says.

She then stops laughing, & walks closer to you again.

"Your parents contacted me to invite me to this party, & told me YOU had never gotten over the cancellation!" she explains.

"Yeah!" you admit. "I thought that sucked!"
