"What is this place?"

"It's a bit hard to explain", Mani begins. "On the outside, this place looks like a house, but that's not really accurate."

"What do you mean?" Jake asked.

"Well", Mani continued, "I'm sure you've noticed all the strange things inside this place."

"Yeah...", Jake said.

"These things aren't here for everyone. This house is tailored for each person who enters it." Mani smiled weakly. "Even I'm just a part of this house, made for your visit."

"So..." Jake said slowly. "This house is fighting against me, trying to stop me from leaving?"

He stared at Mani for a moment, digesting what he had been told. Then, he screamed. He backed to the wall, and stared around crazily. Mani sat in his place placidly, waiting for Jake to finish the hysterics.

Jake looked around the room desperately. There must be something he could do.
