What was that?
"What's the matter?"
Jeremy tensed at the sounds. Courtney and Jeremy stood there for a good five minutes before he had to do something. "Aunt Kate!" His hands balled up into fists he walked through the living room...but was met by a sun kissed blond woman. "Huh? I know you vaguely." Jeremy said as he halted for a second.
The blond gave Jeremy and Courtney a winning smile, "I'm Sandy Walker."
"Oh yeah, auntie Sandy is what Bryan Jr, and Jasmine call you. I heard you were coming in for a visit." Jeremy said.
Courtney stepped up, "Is...is Kate okay? What was that sound?"
Sandy paused to look at the eighteen year old. "Mmm...Yeah she's okay. Better than okay. Can I get the robe? You sit down on the couch she'll be out in a second."
"O...okayyyy." Courtney said as she handed the robe to Sandy, their hands touching in the exchange. With a wink to Courtney Sandy left the room.
Five minutes later a disheveled looking Kathryn walked out of the back wrapped in her robe. Bryan, in a pair of sweatpants, followed behind her. "Jeremy. Courtney. Is everything alright?" Kathryn asked as she walked over to Jeremy and kissed him on the cheek. She followed that with a kiss to Courtney's cheek.
Jeremy nodded, "I'm fine. Courtney wanted to talk to you, and I hitched a ride. What was that sound when we came in."
Kathryn sighed, "Please don't think ill of me." Her blue eyes were imploring the two teens.
Jeremy gaped at that, "What? Why would I ever think bad of you? We're family!"
Courtney nodded at that, "You're like the coolest person in town! I'd never think bad of you. I mean even my mom thinks you'd give great advice about what I have to ask...again."
"Jeremy, Courtney. This can not go beyond this house. Courtney you're parents already know as does my family, except for Jeremy. I'm...different in my love. As is Bryan. While our love for each other is number one with us, Sandy and her husband Peter..."
Jeremy's mouth dropped lower, "You're swingers?"
Kathryn paused, "Sort of. For the last couple years it's only been us and Sandy and Peter. And...uh...one other couple." Courtney wondered why Kathryn snuck a glance at her, but put it out of her mind quickly as the implication exploded into her brain. "You don't think I'm weird do you?"
Courtney shook her head and got up off the couch quickly hugging Kathryn, "Never! At least now I know why my mom said you can help with a lot of my questions!"
Jeremy nodded, "Yeah. What you do is what you do. Who am I to judge? I've never done anything like that!"
Courtney let go of the hug, "Yeah, me either."
Kathryn smiled gently, "There are times I wish I was ten years older and been in your parents generation or twelve years younger and been in yours."
Bryan stepped over to his wife, "But then you wouldn't have met me."
"That would have been bad." Kathryn looked back to Courtney, "What do you need to ask?"
"Maybe Sandy can help too. In private?"
"Of course, I'll send Peter out here. You can ask me and Sandy questions, and Jeremy can ask them of Bryan and Peter."
Bryan smiled, "We'll just wind up talking about sports and you know it!
