"Run! Back and down the ladder!"

Both of you set of in a sprint to the ladder with a horde of trogs trailing you. Heading down the ladder you enter a completely flooded area but have no time to make an assessment of the situation. Instead you hastily run on. As the trogs crawl out of the ladder chute, a great reptilian beast emerges engaging their engorged limbs in combat. In the haste you find the correct path out of the water eventually finding your way to light. The grate budges off after a great effort, revealing a small river boat, and the calm waters of the river.
