"My friend here needs to get laid. Can you help us?"

Denise looks at you with astonishment and pushes your shoulder. "Candy! I can't believe you said that!"

You both turn and look at the guy to see his reaction and find that he is just grinning, looking Denise over appraisingly, as if he is trying to figure out just how much help he can be.

Trying to defuse the situation, you say, "I'm sorry... I was just messing around. But we did hear that there might be a party going on here and wondered if we could join in."

At your words the boy smiles even more broadly and opens the door for you to enter. "Definitely! Although it isn't much of a party yet... It's just us." you look around the room to see who he means by "us."

There are five people in the room -- two girls and three guys. They all appear to be about the same age as you. The first guy begins introductions.

"I'm Stephen." Motioning to the tall, African-American guy who is getting a beer for you and Heather, he says, "That's Michael. That guy over there is AJ." AJ is sprawled on one of the beds; he has long brown hair and looks like he could fit in with any rock band.

The ladies are introduced to you as Liz and Donna. They are both white, with black hair, and they look as if they could be sisters.

"We were just trying to decide how to get this party started when you knocked on the door and asked me to lay your friend," Stephen says with a wink at the blushing Denise. "Liz has some kind of game on her iPhone she was telling us about, or we could just play some music and get to know each other for a bit. Do you have any preference or suggestion?"
