"Yes," you say.

Your back stiffens. Your shoulders quake. You're not much for crying or sobbing. But somehow, maybe if you could let it out somehow.

"Oh, darling," Vincent says. He circles his arms around you. You feel his body shake. He's sobbing, without making any noise. "Don't leave me."

"Could you still love me, Vincent?" you ask. "If I'm...lesbian? Bisexual?"

June whimpers from behind the bathroom door.
