"I am heading to find the Boomers."

Madeline figured these were honest folk and spoke plainly.

"I am going east to find the Boomers." she said, awaiting their faces.

"The Boomers?" one woman said "Why would you wanna find them?"

"Yeah," the leader agreed "Those quacks are crazy as hell. They will blow your ass up without thinking about it. Almost as bad as a pack of raiders."

"They attack people?" Madeline said, a hint of concern in her voice.

"Well. No." The leader said "They only attack people who trespass on their land. Not like real bandits who go out and attack folks. But getting to them is the hard part. They shoot first and don't ask any questions."

"Any other advice you could give me? What else lays east?" Madeline asked. Hoping to seek out further avenues of success for her mission.

"Well if you go east and South you have the Hoover Dam. But thats a damn warzone down there. The NCR and the Legion are all set up trying to kill each other."

"That is what everyone is talking about in New Vegas. I guess it will come to a head at some point." Madeline noted.

"There was some fire geckos back a ways. You may want to skirt a bit more north if I were you." the leader said with a nod.

"I appreciate that. I wish you the best. There were some Fiends or Vipers or raiders of some sort on the outskirts of Vegas if you keep going. Be careful."

They thanked her for her information and exchanged brief goodbyes and well wishes, from one traveler to another.

The Madeline headed on East, cutting north to avoid the Fire Geckos.
