"I'm so nervous!"

Jeremy walked into the bedroom and saw Sandy and Courtney sitting on the bed. Courtney looked a little nervous, but Sandy looked at ease. "Courtney, what's up?"

"I...I want you to give me the greatest birthday present you can. And...and it'll be my belated greatest birthday present to you." Courtney said, her nerves playing havoc with her voice as it rose and dipped to it's own tune.

"Uh...What do you mean?" Jeremy asked as he sat down next to Courtney on the bed.

"I...I want to give you my virginity...and...and I want...I want you to give me yours...I mean I guess that would be obvious if I gave you my virginity you'd be giving me yours, it's just I want to be clear and I really want this and I'm really really really nervous. Please say yes. Please."

"Woah...breath Courtney. It's easier to talk that way." Sandy said with a laugh as Jeremy looked into Courtney's eyes to see if she was serious.

"Do...do you mean...here? Now? No...dinner or romance?"

"Oh God you think I'm being easy! You...you think I'm going to be a slut and... and..." Courtney wailed and buried her face in her hands.

"No no no no! I didn't say that and I'd never think that!" Jeremy said hastily, cutting her off.

"You don't?" Courtney asked, her heart racing from her nerves.

"Never! I mean I've been trying to broach the subject with you for the longest time! I just never thought I was smart enough for you. I mean...Courtney you're brilliant. I...I'm man enough to admit that I kind of find it intimidating when you start talking about current trends in Virology."

"I...I'll learn to talk about football more!" Courtney said, pleadingly "But...you...you don't think I'm too ugly for you...do you?"

Jeremy blinked, then looked at Sandy. "Could you please slap her upside the head?"
