"I'm putting you in a new department".

Lynn's heart leapt. No more lingerie, no more lewd customers!

"That's great, Miss Cooper, I'll just get changed."

"That won't be necessary," said Sara Cooper.

Lynn paused and looked at her boss quizzically.

"Come on, let me show you where you will be working."

Lynn followed obediently. She still had burning questions, but they suddenly didn't seem so important.

"How are the uniforms working out?" Her boss asked.

Lynn was confused for a moment, before she remembered that Sarah had designed and made the uniforms for the cheerleading squad.

"Oh, they're great, Miss Cooper," she gushed a little more enthusiastically than she had intended.

"And do they help with your training?"

Lynn thought that an odd question, but before she could help herself she was answering: "Oh yes, our coach said we seem much more focused now that we've got our new uniforms. That's why we ended up running late. Nobody wanted to tell the coach that we had to go."

"So you are more focused now?" Sara Cooper repeated back.

"Yes."

"You always do as you are told?"

"Yes, we don't seem to play about as much as we used to."

"You are more compliant?"

That was not what Lynn had meant at all, but now that her boss had said the word, she realised that it was true.

"This is your new department," announced Miss Cooper. "When Shaun gets here, she can join you."

Lynn found herself surrounded by a bewildering range of exotic outfits. There were uniforms of varying kinds: Not just cheerleading but, college wear, nursing, maids, girl-scout leaders outfits as well as more exotic fare.

"I've won a contract to supply a number of local institutions explained Miss Cooper. It seemed to make sense to put some of it in the shop, so that people can see what we do, rather than keeping it bagged up in the warehouse.

With that Sara Cooper departed and Lynn, still in her cheerleading outfit, tried to familiarise herself with her new department. As she was doing so, she became aware of a figure drawing closer.
