"I'll join you later, I think I just found our first girl for the calendar" said Nick

"Who? Wait, do you mean the captain? No way you're gonna pull that off" said Emily

"I think I can" said Nick

"$20 says you don't get anything from her" said Emily

"You're on" said Nick

Emily shook his hand and left to head to the pool. Nick saw the captain leaving and followed her, stopping her in the hallway.

"Um, excuse me, captain" said Nick

The captain stopped and turned to look at Nick.

"Can I help you?" asked the captain

"I just wanted to say, that was a great speech you gave back there" said Nick

"Thanks, um..." said the captain

"Oh, I'm Nick, Nick Carter"

"Chloe, Chloe Boote" said the captain

"I must admit that I'm a bit surprised, I've never seen such a young captain before" said Nick

Nick saw Chloe blush at his words.

"I just finished the marine academy, this is my first cruise" said Chloe

"That's really impressive, your boyfriend must be proud of you" said Nick

"Um, I don't have a boyfriend" said Chloe

"You don't? I just assumed since you...no, nevermind" said Nick

"What? What were you about to say?" asked Chloe

'She's taking the bait' thought Nick

"It's just that...you're incredibly beautiful, I thought that surely some guy must have swept you off your feet" said Nick

"Well, no, I don't have anyone at the moment" said Chloe

"I'm surprised, well, whenever someone does win your heart, he'll be a really lucky guy" said Nick

Nick turned around to walk away.

'Three...two...one...' thought Nick

"Hey..." said Chloe

"Yes?" asked Nick, turning back towards the captain

"The ship's not supposed to sail for another hour, would you care to join me in my cabin for a drink?" asked Chloe

'Hook, line and sinker' thought Nick

"I'd love to" said Nick
