Janey's mom loomed over the two, a mask of annoyance across her pristine face. Janey and Kirsty both shuddered at her authoritative tone. From her memories of this new reality that the script has created for Kirsty, she recalls that Janey always hated talking about her parents. Never good things, mind you. Always about how terrible a wish granter she was, and that she needed to keep practicing. Her mom was always disappointed and punished her all the time with various unusual punishments.
