Her next task?
"Find a friend and molest her during class, but don't tell her why."
"Are you serious?" Mona asks, but the Universe is already gone.
The guy in front of her turns around to scowl at her. "You bumped into me!"
"Huh? Oh, sorry." Mona excuses herself and hurries past him to get to her English class.
Looking over the crowd of people sitting down and digging through their bags for a pen and something to write on, she spots her friend Natasha. As luck would have it the seat next to her is free, so Mona sits down and casually drops her arm onto Natasha's shoulders. "Tash! How are you girl?"
"Ah! Mona, you startled me," the tall brunette laughs. "What's gotten into you?"
"Well, I saw you sitting here all by yourself and thought I'd save you from dying of boredom," Mona flubs nervously. What did Sam expect her to do here? Will a quick grope suffice or does she have to violate her friend with a hundred people in the room? No, she won't go that far, she decides. But she can't stop at the bare minimum either. Even if the world doesn't end because of it Sam could get nasty if he thinks she's not playing along.
To avoid arousing suspicion, Mona lets go of Natasha long enough to place a spiral notebook on the desk in front of her. But the moment she lets go of it her arm returns to Natasha's shoulders, earning her a sidelong glance. "I think you're feeling lonely today, Mona," she giggles. "Shame on you for pretending I'm the one who needs saving."
Mona tries to mimick her good mood despite the knot forming in her stomach. "What can I say, I'm a little starved for comfort today. You don't mind a hug do you?"
"No, of course not. Natasha is here for all your hugging and cuddling needs. No sacrifice is too great to comfort a friend in need. So what brought this on anyway, that doofus you're dating dump you?"
"Yes!" Mona says too happily, internally thanking her friend for the easy excuse. "I mean no, I dumped him. Who needs boys anyway, right?"
"Right on, sister. Bring it in then!" Natasha puts her arm around Mona, who uses the sudden movement to shift her hand down until it grazes the side of her friend's large bust. When Natasha doesn't react she moves her hand further onto her tit and gives it a tentative squeeze.
"Wohoa, I didn't think you'd bring it that far in," Natasha teases. "But I'm digging the casual way to come out of the closet. Who needs boys indeed. So are you a lesbo now?"
"And if I was?"
"Well as a good friend I'd have to support you, but I don't think that extends to letting you feel me up in class."
"And yet you're not stopping me," Mona says with another squeeze.
"If I knocked your hand away it'd just come back a minute later and I'd never get any peace. Might as well let you get it out of your system."
"So you wouldn't mind if I did something like this?" Mona lets go of Natasha's boob just long enough to reach into her open cleavage, this time latching onto her bare flesh and even worming her fingers under her friend's bra to feel the little bumps around her nipple.
This time Natasha grabs her wrist. "That would be too much. I'm not above having some fun but we are in class, Mona."
Mona pulls her hand back and lets it drop into her lap with a worried look. Was that enough for Sam? It'll have to be, I'm not ruining our friendship for this shit, she thinks.
Natasha notices her look and tightens the grip of her arm around Mona's shoulders. "Hey, I'm not mad at you. I just want you to cut it out ok?"
Now that she's looking at her, she also notices the collar around Mona's neck. "Hold on, what's this thing?" she asks and taps a fingernail against the hard metal.
"It's..." Mona remembers Sam's instructions: don't tell her why. "I'll try to explain later. For now, let's pretend I'm not a total weirdo and pay attention to the professor."
"You'll try to...?" Natasha shrugs and looks to the front of the room, where the English professor has unpacked his supplies and started writing on the chalkboard. She quickly picks up a pen and uses her teeth to uncap it, leaving her arm on Mona's shoulders.
The rest of the class is mercifully uneventful, but time stops again when Mona and Natasha are on their way out into the hallway.
The Universe steps out of the crowd and claps her hands. "Bravo, Mona. I wish you'd done something a bit more entertaining but you did meet Sam's requirements. I wonder what would have happened if you didn't have any friends in this class. Maybe Sam should be more careful so this universe doesn't explode."
"It could explode just from that?" Mona asks fearfully.
"Honestly, it could explode either way. These things are hella unstable. But don't worry, there's plenty of universes left. So what do you want her to do next, Sam?"
