"Ending" (Lynx's plans that never happened.)

Ok, so since I'm not finishing the story myself, here's how it would have gone, had I actually been motivated to write it.

Greg and Ashley have effectively been in a relationship with each other their whole lives, and with the cure, they've added physical and sexual intimacy to that. They're in a pretty stable relationship off the bat.

Trista manipulates Carla into having sex with Greg as Trista watches for 'science' by offering a bonus check that would allow Carla to buy a house for herself and her fiancée. Trista Hart takes the necessary samples and research needed to manufacture the cure, but the CEO of the company decides to play it safe and do proper safety testing and long-term research on the cure's effects. This is to protect the company and to guarantee they will be able to milk this for as much money as possible.

Greg agrees to this, hoping it will lead to the respect and status he's always craved, but in doing so also must keep the cure, (and by proxy his changing body) secret from the world until the cure is ready in about a year. He goes into months long quarantine where he effectively experiences puberty at an accelerated rate. The genetic altering his mother did to him before he was born means this transforms him into the 'perfect man.' Super handsome, big-dick chad, etc.

During this quarantine, Carla and her (now) wife show up. They explain that having just married and bought a house, they're ready for kids, but again lack funds to pay for the standard way of having kids, (genetic science impregnation with manufactured sperm yada yada) and ask if Greg would impregnate one of them so they can start their family.

This is the start of the whole conflict of the story. Greg, loyal to Ashley, wants to be monogamous. Ashley, empathic to other women, wanting others to be able to experience what she has and wanting the world to have 'real' children encourages Greg to do it.

Eventually Greg caves and impregnates either Carla or her wife, but hates himself for doing it, feeling that if the circumstances of the world we're different, Ashley wouldn't want him to cheat on her.

Eventually, Greg is accidentally revealed to the world, (the only grown man in society) and enters the global spotlight. Celebrities and women in power offer millions for sex, people plead for him impregnate them, other males beg to know his secrets. He goes along with it, (loving the sex in the moment, but secretly hating himself afterwards) for a couple months, making Ashley happy.

Hating his fame, Greg severs all ties to the cure, exiting his contract with the genetics company, allowing the public narrative to be Trista Hart's efforts in Greg worked, (if delayed a decade) and now there is a separate cure developed by the company in testing.

Eventually his fame makes him a target for Stalking, Harrasment, and even **** from those whose advances Greg rejects. Greg reaches his breaking point and refuses to return to the public's eye, attempting to retreat into Ashley's arms, however she fails to understand why he would refuse to share his 'gift' with the world.

After a fight between them, Greg breaks up with Ashley and disappears. In this time, Ashley realizes her error, Greg's fame dissipates as the cure is released and Men return to society (with the exception of all of his children becoming trophies to vain individuals). They reconnect as Ashley comes to value the monogamy Greg always wanted for them.

Bing bada-boom, they have a kid, the end.

I know, I know, I have the whole story planned, why didn't I write it? Lack of motivation, time, energy. A cross-country move, a 2020-fueled depression. So many things. I don't want to write this story any more. Thats why this branch has been dead for so long.

But... I also know a decent number of people were enjoying these chapters, and I didn't want it to be a cliffhanger anymore.

This is my official endorsement for anyone to continue my branch, whether you want to follow the plans I just laid out or not. (Obviously you're gonna have to deal with the OP if you do, but that's not my problem lol)

I have a really bad habit of starting stories and never getting around to finishing them, (as is evident) but honestly I wrote the last three chapters of this purely because I saw the engagement the branch was getting, even though I lacked inspiration/internal motivation. You internet weirdos do motivate me to write, which is good I suppose.

TL:DR, Yell at me to finish my stories, but not this one please, sorry.
