The troll leaps at you and slashes at your chest with her powerful claws. You swing your blade again, but because she's much bigger than you, she has a longer reach and connects first.

Her claws tear into your breast plate, opening it like a tin can and flinging it away, but leaving you otherwise unharmed.

You're going to have to get much closer to her if you want to actually land a blow on her. You contemplate your surroundings, looking for anything you can use to your advantage, but before you can come up with something, the troll leaps at you again and strikes!

Thankfully, you're much more flexible without that breastplate on, and you're able to successfully dodge her attack.

Well mostly, anyway. She does manage to flick away one of your over-sized shoulder pauldrons, but whatever, you can still look cool with just the one on.

More importantly though, she's left herself wide open after that last attack.

You smile momentarily before letting out a mighty roar and swinging your blade with all your might.
