Seventy percent of the male population collapses within the first day—gone before governments can even respond. The remaining thirty percent struggle through the following weeks, but the chemical agent continues to ravage their bodies. Civil unrest, resource shortages, and biological failure claim nearly all who remain.
John watches the numbers fall on his monitors, each line of data another life extinguished. He never sees the chaos outside the base; alarms blare, orders echo through the halls, and then everything goes white as emergency stasis protocols activate. He is sealed inside an experimental pod designed for long‑term biological study. His last conscious thought is a quiet, stunned whisper to himself: This wasn’t supposed to happen.
The world moves on without him.
Women evolve—stronger, smarter, telepathic. Men become scarce, then precious, then nearly myth. **** to restore balance, scientists attempt everything: cloning male embryos, synthesizing sperm, reconstructing Y‑chromosome sequences. Every attempt fails. Artificial sperm degrades instantly. Male clones collapse before cell division completes. The species adapts, but it cannot replace what it has lost.
Humanity spreads to new planets, adapting to alien skies and unfamiliar gravity. Millennia pass. Then millions.
Earth dies. The sun swells. The species forgets its origins.
And yet, deep in a forgotten military vault on the abandoned planet, dozens of stasis pods remain sealed—each containing an ancient man preserved by accident, not design. John is one of them. All of them sleep through the rise and fall of civilizations, untouched by time.
When Earth is finally evacuated, the pods are rediscovered together. The shock of awakening the first man reveals a dangerous truth: ancient minds cannot withstand modern telepathy. The man dies within minutes. But his brief existence reveals something even more extraordinary—women once considered infertile conceive after exposure to ancient male biology. Male offspring return.
Realizing the stakes, leaders send all the remaining pods across the stars. Each pod is reprogrammed to reshape its occupant slowly, preparing the ancient men for a future they could never imagine. They drift through time for 669 million years.
Then, at last, they open.
John awakens floating in a sterile chamber, wearing a simple hospital gown. His introverted mind reels as he tries to process the scene around him. A dozen young women stand nearby, their hair shimmering in metallic hues, their minds humming with telepathic energy he cannot comprehend. Their uniforms cling to their bodies like living fabric—adaptive suits that tighten with movement, glow faintly along the seams, and function as extensions of their physiology.
To John, they look impossibly futuristic. To them, he looks impossibly ancient.
A woman in a deep‑indigo military uniform steps forward, her presence calm and authoritative. The suit molds to her frame with engineered precision, its luminescent lines pulsing in rhythm with her bio‑energy.
“It’s safe for you to breathe now,” she says gently.
John’s voice is soft, almost swallowed by the room. “I want to go home.”
She tells him, "Earth is no more"
But Earth is gone. Humanity has changed. And the quiet, introverted man from a forgotten century may carry the last key to the species’ survival.
His awakening is not an ending.
It is the beginning of a new human era.

He was put asleep due to an epidemic that nearly made human race extinct. Millenniums later as the Earth is being abandoned due to sun going super nova, they are discovered and put on Earth settlements. But the human race has evolved since then but the ancient men have an effect on the evolved woman.
