The Ranking

In the not-so-distant future, the majority of the world’s governments have decided to ally with one another to prevent the looming nuclear threat posed by smaller nations slowly developing nuclear arms, as well as the rise of anarchistic movements within their nations. Stomping out and forcing other nations to bend the knee to the New World Order, a World Government was formed in the aftermath of conquest by the united armies of the most powerful nations in the world.

The World Government implemented a World Ranking System, designed to have the most intellectually capable to make the decisions for the future of mankind. Rankings have been determined by an ‘Intelligence Test’ (measuring intelligence, potential, courage, lateral thinking, innovation, pragmatism and decision making) since its inception, and the test has been deemed infallible by The World Government.

The Rankings are as follows:

A person’s ranking determines, not only their social status, but their authority throughout the world. This is due to the fact that any person who has a higher ranking can command those with a lower ranking than them to do certain tasks, depending on the gap in their rankings. The higher one’s ranking, the higher the priority for all queuing, buying of limited items, discounts, and asking of favours. Rankings also help determine who are best to hire for certain careers, who are accepted into a specific school or university, and how much they will earn.

Those who top The Ranking are called ‘toppers’, all rated at One Hundred (100), and it is an elite group of people that the original council of the World Government deemed to limit to only to five hundred (500) people throughout the entire world. Toppers have total authority over everyone else, including those with the second highest tier in The Ranking (90-99).

Failure to comply with any task, no matter how expensive, difficult, painful, or humiliating means a minimum fine of 50,000.00 World Currency (WC), minimum 1000 hours of community service, a minimum 1000 hours of physical labour for boys, and free use for girls, and a criminal record. For medium offences such as expressing ****, anger, or annoyance at serving the wishes of the higher ranking individual, not carrying out their will to the best of one’s ability or lying to a ‘topper’ — a minimum 10 years in prison will be served as a standard. However, to show the supreme authority of toppers, the topper involved ultimately gets the final say in punishment; and can sentence anyone to any punishment, including a lifetime prison sentence, without them breaking any law.

Toppers will receive an initial One Billion WC. Although, toppers aren’t usually charged for the majority of transactions anyway. Toppers also have access to a bottomless ‘Topper Exclusive’ bank account and a permanent security team who exist to ensure all their requests are served, with staff standing by to deliver them any food, items, or people at a moment's notice. Toppers will be given a purple pill, called a TOPPO, which makes them: immune to any diseases or infections, including sexual ones; reduces the aging process to immortality, unless they want to become mortal again; and allows them to have repeated sex easily without any drawbacks or pain.

The following sexual favours can be solicited based on these gaps in Ranking:

Makeout, mild groping and kissing – 15

Handjob/fingering – 20

Oral sex if both participants are free – 25

Oral sex – 30

Penetrative sex – 35

Anal sex, BDSM and fetishes – 45

Outfits can be requested with a gap of 35 but have to be bought and worn only for a reasonable time period unless requested by an 85 or up. For families an extra gap of ten is required. Any requests can be cancelled by a topper. These gaps are all reduced by 30 for 90-99 rated people, or removed completely for toppers, who have freeuse access to anyone at any time, irrelevant to how inconvenient or frustrating it may be.

Some examples of day-to-day changes based on Rankings:

In any sort of queue, it will be ordered by numerical Ranking, and not by a ‘first come first served’ basis.

Shops must have discounts for higher ranking individuals, and give anything free to toppers

Salaries may be based off of one’s Ranking; as well as job, school, and university offers may be based off Ranking.

Lower ranking individuals may be asked to fetch items or perform mundane tasks such as shopping or cleaning for higher ranked people

Toppers are immune from any crimes, including **** or ****, and have diplomatic immunity

As a result of these laws, and the time that has passed since the implementation of The Ranking: the world’s sexual openness has increased to the point that people are not disturbed when colleagues, friends, family, or schoolmates engage in sexual activities in front of them.
