Your name is Luke Baxter. You're a young man in his early twenties, tall and well built, your life up to this point has been charmed. Due to youe size, you've never had to deal with bullies, and you have always received attention from girls your parents are well off and athletics and academics both came easy to you. This has led to you having a rather naïve and optimistic view on life, compounded by the fact that your parents gifted you your childhood home when they bought a larger one, it's no surprise that you are so laid back and have such a positive view of the world.

Living with you is your long-time girlfriend, Amber. She is a sweet, also naïve girl. Her large, full chest draws the eye first, partially due to her most common shirt choice of a white tank top. Due to her large bust and thin waist, it was difficult for her to find a shirt that fits well and is comfortable, forcing her to pick tank tops. Even then, you can see the poor fabric straining to contain her melons, and no matter how hard she tried, every single top she had inevitably gave way to showing a mouth watering amount of cleavage. If guys ever managed to tear their eyes off her chest long enough to follow her body down past her thin waist, they would find a massive, round rear end, no less than perfectly shaped despite its size. Jeans were a constant struggle, looking as if they were painted on if she managed to squeeze herself into them. Though she only has eyes for you, and you for her. She recently moved into your house, and things have been better than ever. Though some people would describe your sex life as boring, as you two only have sex in missionary, both of you are more than happy with it, and the love and intimacy you both feel from that position makes it the best one for you. Neither one of you has ever been happier, and a ring sits in your dresser drawer, just waiting for the perfect moment.

Next door lives Thomas Caldwell, an old family friend who has lived there since you were a kid. There used to be a Mrs. Caldwell as well, but the two of them are no longer together, which isn't surprising if the rumours about his multiple affairs are true. Still, you don't believe any of that, and you have always admired looked up to the man. Now in his fifties, and slightly pudgier than he used to be, he is still tall, nearly as tall as you, and strong, and his bright blue eyes are as piercing as ever. You have always been in awe of his charming and sophisticated demeanor, and how his piercing blue eyes seemed to catch every detail and see into the very soul. He doesn't talk much about his work, but you know from your parents that he is a fairly successful defense attorney. You never really saw much of him after your parents left, however that all changed once Amber moved in.

He was outside, smoking a cigarette as he watched you help Amber move all of her possessions out of the moving truck, his bright blue eyes seeming fixated on Amber's curvy form, like most guys. After watching for a while, when Amber was busy inside the house, he walked over slowly. "Hey kid," he started, "girlfriend moving in, huh?"

"Yeah, her name is Amber," I tell him.

"You're a lucky guy," he says with a wry grin.

"Don't I know it," I reply with a smile. I've had friends ask me if I ever get jealous or worried about the amount of attention she gets from other guys, and I always tell them no. Amber and I are in love, true love, and I know that she would never do anything to betray me.

"Looks like you guys could use a hand."

"Sure! If you don't mind," I say. I introduce him to Amber, and at first she is a little apprehensive about some stranger touching all of her things, but after talking to him for a while, she eases up, giggling and laughing as he tells her jokes. Mr. Caldwell always had a silver tongue. Amber invites him over for dinner, and he accepts, sharing a meal of pizza and breadsticks at our cluttered table. It soon becomes a weekly occurrence, with Mr. Caldwell coming over to share dinner with us, and both Amber and I always look forward to sharing our table with him. It's at one of those dinners that he notices Amber being much less cheerful than usual.

"Is everything alright?" he asks her, leaning forward to look deep into her eyes. I regard her curiously. I've been trying to figure that out all day.

"Oh, it's nothing," she says dismissively, but when he doesn't avert his gaze, she finally adds, "It's just my brother... He is in a bit of legal trouble..." Her brother, Richard, has always been a troublemaker, always getting into trouble of one kind or another. For her to be this worried, it must be something serious.

"Hmm, I see. Who is representing him?" Mr. Caldwell asks, a logical question given his legal background.

"Oh, some public defender. Mr. Bayes I think?" Amber says.

He shakes his head. "That's not great. That guy is a joke around the courthouse." Amber's face falls. "Tell you what, I'll give him a call tomorrow, take a look at the case myself."

Amber's face lights up with a smile. "Really? You'd do that for us?"

He reaches across the table and gently takes her hand in his. "Of course. It's the least I could do." Amber's normal cheerful mood returns, and the rest of the dinner is upbeat and happy.

A few days later, Mr. Caldwell texts me to set up another dinner. The mood is much more intense, serious, and he is the only one who manages to eat much of his food. When he finishes, he notices the two of us looking at him expectantly, and he puts down his fork and pushes his plate away. Amber and I hold our breath, waiting for him to speak. "Well," he starts slowly, "I'll be honest. It's not good. He could be looking at a pretty hefty sentence." Amber and I share a concerned look. This is exactly what we were hoping not to hear. "With that clown Bayes, your brother will definitely go to jail. However," he adds, leaning in to look us deep in the eyes, piercing us with his ice blue gaze, "if I took the case, I know I can keep him out of prison."

The tension washed away from Amber, but yours remains. You are well off, especially for your age, but you doubt you can afford his services. "I appreciate all that you've done already, but we really wouldn't be able to hire you on..."

"Hmmmmm," he says, thinking, then snaps his fingers. "I've got an idea! I can work half days at work for the next few months while I work on his defense. I could use your dad's old study to keep all the paperwork, and since Amber is between jobs, she could be my secretary."

It's a generous offer. Too generous, to be honest. "I don't know..." you start before he cuts you off.

"I would pay her a fair wage, of course," he adds.

Do you accept his offer?
