Rise of Corruption

Hell was in chaos. Sure, chaos was what hell was known for but it was usually a very structured and, ironically, an orderly chaos. However when Mistress Haily died in an actual, honest to God himself, accident, all her minions were freed, and a power vacuum was left in its wake. Demons of all kinds were left with no ruler, no orders, no control. They were free, and they hated it. Humans craved freedom, needed it. Angles, well they can be free but they usually never needed to worry about it. Demons on the other hand, most of them craved to be controlled, needed someone to at least give them direction, orders or just control them. Some rose above it, wanted to control others and they would rise up the ranks rather quickly.

With Haily gone and not taken over by another demon that means everyone she commanded were free. Free to do whatever they wanted and that was why hell was in actual chaos.

Abigail drifted through the city searching for...something. Or was it someone? She couldn't remember right now. She was lost, confused and in need of.....something. Her mistresses **** left her empty, directionless and without purpose. Freedom to a demon such are herself was nothing. It was panful to her. Thus her search for something, or someone.

Time passed and she drifted as a spirt from place to place. Growing weaker and weaker as the time passed. Finally she decided what she needed was a body, a host of sorts. So she started to look for one. She needed more than just a host but it was a good place to start.
